Browser tools that keep to themselves.
No servers, no accounts, no telemetry. Everything happens on your machine, and each tool asks for the fewest permissions its job allows.
Tools
FullSnapper Firefox
Captures a whole web page in one frame, without scrolling it. Exports PNG, JPEG, WebP or a multi-page PDF.
PixFerry Firefox
Puts a download button on any image and saves the full-size file the page is carrying, not the copy the layout picked.
More are in progress.
What that means in practice
An extension can read the page you are looking at. That is what makes it useful, and what makes a bad one dangerous.
None of these tools has a server to talk to. There is no account. Nothing is uploaded, no usage is measured, and no fonts or scripts come from anywhere else. What you capture stays on the machine you captured it on.
This page follows the same rule. It loads two files:
index.html: this page
style.css: how it looks
no scripts, no fonts, no analytics, no cookies
